Trip to Inis Oirr Easter 2010
Another great Easter in Inis Oirr. The weather was not quite as good as we have come to expect. But the craic was great so spirits reained undampened. And there was enough good weather to do the essential things - the Easter egg hunt, the sports day and Mícheál Ó hAlmhain's wonderful historic tour.
The music was brilliant with seasoned hands Seamus Glackin, Mark Kelly, Seamus Meehan and Neilidh Mulligan leading the attack. And the young musicians weren't found wanting either! What was new this year was the great outpouring of song. You could always count on a song or two from the likes of Kieran Wade or Pauline Quinn but this year they jumping out of the most unexpected quarters!
