Classes

We provide classes for children and adults in the following instruments:

Fiddle
Flute
Tin Whistle
Uilleann Pipes
Button Accordeon
Concertina
Harp
Banjo & Mandolin
Traditional Guitar Accompaniment
Bodhrán

Classes in Music Theory are also offered.

Classes take place on Saturday mornings from 9:00 AM to 11:30 AM in Marino College, Marino Mart, Dublin 3 (opposite Fairview Park).

Enrolment for the 2009 Autumn term on Saturday September 5th in Marino College between 9:00 and 11:30 AM.

The Cost is €10 per lesson (payable by term in advance).

Student development

Typically students progress to our award-winning groups and ceili bands where they get the chance to play in festivals and compete in national competitions.

The student's teacher will advise whether they are ready join the groups. Typically a child of 8 to 10 years with a year or two of playing would be ready to join.
