Cluain Tarbh @ Temple Bar Trad
Cluain Tarbh play the Temple Bar Trad Festival on Saturday January 28th 2012.
We will be performing on the Fownes Street Stage at 2:45PM to 3:30PM.
Its always a powerful performance so do drop by if you're in the area!
Children's Open Session at the Ark January 28th & 29th
We are collaborating with the Ark in Temple Bar to provide traditional music performance opportunities for young people.
So if you can play Irish music, and you are aged between 8 and 12
then join us in the Ark for a free open trad session especially for budding trad musicians.
The seisiún will be led by the young musicians of Ceoltóirí Chluain Tarbh but all others are more than welcome!
Invite your family to come watch you play in a real trad session!
From 12 - 2.30pm on Saturday 28 January and Sunday 29 January 2012. Admission to the Children’s Open Trad Session is free on a first come first served basis (no advance booking available).

Spring 2012 Term Starts
Music classes in Marino College will recommence on Saturday morning 14th January. Bands / groups in St Gabriel's will also restart on the same evening (Saturday 14th). We are looking forward to seeing you there.

Chasing the wren - St Stephen's Day Dec 26th
In time honoured tradition club members will be meeting at Grainger's Pub near the
Fairview end of the Malahide Road at 1pm.
We will visit pubs and clubs about the area and entertain the revellers.
Fancy dress obligatory - the more outrageous the better!
Help Sergio Fundraiser 29th Dec 2011
The O’Connor family (Mick, Ann, Darach, Aoife, Donal & Liam) have had a long involvement with Cluain Tarbh
both as members and teachers.
Sergio, who is the 9-month old son of Donal, was born with a rare medical condition for which he and his family hope
to go to Boston for pioneering surgery.
A fundraising concert of traditional music is being held on Thursday 29th December 2011 at 8pm in the Dublin Unitarian Church,
St Stephens Green, Dublin 2.
Line up includes Mick and Aoife O’Brien, Mícheál Ó Raghallaigh, Kevin Rowsome & Lorraine Hickey, Antoin MacGabhann, Jerry O’Reilly, Kieran Wade ...
... plus many more to be confirmed!
